88th percentile

The baby is currently at 1 lb. 7oz, which puts it in the 88% for weight! Well, well. So far, this means the baby is very healthy! I finally got the 20-week ultrasound videotaped today. The first time we went in to have this done, the VCR was actually broken, so I had to reschedule. Today, they put me in the other ultrasound room where the VCR was still intact. Unfortunately, since I have this miserable, miserable cold, the baby didn't seem to be as active as s/he normally is! Nevertheless, the doctor seemed to think zyggy was pretty busy!

She took lots of pictures of the baby's organs -- the heart (could see all 4 valves), the kidneys, bladder, stomach, brain, umbilical cord. She took a pile of pictures and measurements, but the only snapshots I got to keep were a couple of face shots (which actually didn't turn out all that great).

The last ultrasound pic, from Stanford is, I think, still the best one we've got....

As for my own health, today's blood pressure was 110/58 and I weighed in at 127.4 (which, I think, is down from 128 last week).
